One of the locations that The Big Issue is sold on is the roads of Covent Garden.The Big Issue is sold by street vendors across the country who buy copies from the publisher for £1.25 and sell them on the streets for £2.50, these street vendor are people who are considered to be socially excluded e.g addicts, homeless people, mentally ill people and offenders. The model of the business is designed to arm the homeless with a source of income that doesn’t stem from handouts and the self-confidence that comes with earning a living, the public would be helping by actually purchasing and taking the magazine instead of giving money and not taking an issue of the magazine.The Big Issue have sold over 200,000,000 copies in the UK and 100,00 copies are sold in a week

They invest in other social enterprises ( THE BIG ISSUE INVEST).They buy the product then they double the amount.Most widely circulated street newspaper.Hybrid genre, entertainment and social business
